First go to Google Adsense and sign up for an account. After you are logged in you will be given a variety of ways to place a block of PPC ads on your own website. Once you’ve placed Adsense on your site you simply need to keep producing great content and watch the dollars roll in. Google benefits by having additional web space for their customers to show advertisements. You benefit by getting paid every time someone clicks one of the ads on your site. - Sell Advertisements Directly
If you have a lot of readers, the real estate on your website can be very valuable. Often times, companies will pay you directly for the ability to put a visual advertisement on your website. These usually go in the sidebar of your site or sometimes as a banner underneath your header. Because you own the site you can set your own rules. That means you decide what you charge as well as how long the ads stay up. Doing this cuts out the middle man. - Become an Affiliate
Being an affiliate means that you sell products other than your own on your website. This could mean becoming an associate for Amazon.com and selling any variety of their large product catalog. It could also mean finding an expert in your niche that sells products (ex: Business Coach Ali Brown) and becoming an affiliate for them. Either way, all you need to do is promote their products on your site through ads or in blog posts. I’ve always loved the “Create your own product” method! Instead of advertising someone elses product like an affiliate would, now you’re promoting your OWN product and your personal name as well. If your product ends up being a hit, people with look for more products from your personal name.
