About

Baxie404 is the brainchild of Ashley Baxter. Baxter got her first taste of business savvy in 2nd grade when she convinced classmates to create a crowdsourced  newspaper which was then sold to faculty members at a $.10 profit. Two years later she prepared a PowerPoint presentation in order to demonstrate the benefits of an increased allowance to her mother. Although she didn’t get the raise, her persistence and passion for business only continued to strengthen.

She participated in a total immersion program in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico prior to receiving her Bachelors in Mass Communication. From there, she went on to work at a variety of notable companies in the profit and non-profit sectors including a division of the largest Protestant hospital system in the country, a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary, an Inc. 500 Top 10 Revenue Growth company, and a Fortune Top 10 Merchandiser. She has also participated in the construction of startup companies OnDaMenu and Proxomo.
